Disneyland 2012

For Christmas this year, we took our kids to Disneyland...
It was so much fun!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures
from our trip! :)

For any of you who know Spencer,
he is obsessed with the Hulk.
Hulk Smash!

This is Tyler's first trip tp Disneyland.  Smiling on the first ride... I think he's going to like it here!

We did a lot of waiting while the big kids and dad went on rides.
Here are some silly pictures of Tyler while we waited.

 More waiting silliness...

So excited to see the Prep and Landing in 3D!!!

Minnie Mouse was quite a favorite... Just ask my husband! LOL

Can't go home without our classic Mickey Mouse picture.

So, all Tyler talked about was Mickey Mouse and Jake.
He was so excited to see Jake until he got up close...
Funny kid.

Ta Da!!! Disneyland was a blast!

Spencer started scouts.
He makes such a cute Tiger Cub!

 Jena started up dance again...
She is trying cheer and tumbling this year,
on top of her jazz, tap and ballet class.

I started up my preschool - I Think I Can Academy
I love it!

Jena comes to my morning class and
then goes to Kindergarten in the afternoon.

Happy 7th Birthday Spencer!

Spencer woke up on his birthday to
7 balloons hanging in his doorway,
each one with a dollar in it.
I can't believe he's 7!

Jena's Spring Dance Concert

Jena did an excellent job at her Spring Concert!
She is turning into a really good dancer :)

Soccer! Soccer! And MORE Soccer!

This year we had soccer games
coming out of our ears
with both Spencer and Jenalee playing.
It was a lot, but totally worth it!

I can't believe our little Jena is 5!

She's growing up way too fast!

It was a VERY Hello Kitty Party :)

Jena had a wonderful time at her "Hello Kitty" themed birthday party.
I think it was a hit!

Little Stinker!

Tyler's new thing is climbing.
And of course, getting into everything...

It's official... I'm 30!

I had a "bitter-sweet" 30th Birthday.

What was supposed to happen:
My amazing husband put a lot of time and effort into planning a perfect 30th birthday for me!  He researched and made me an extravagant ice cream cake, made arrangements for the kids to sleep at their grandparents’ and planned a fun night out on the town doing all of the fun things we used to do before we had kids We were going to dinner at my favorite restaurant with a bunch of my friends from my “single” days (and all of their spouses), enjoying the wonderful cake he made, and then heading down to mesquite for some cosmic bowling, mid-night movie, 2am Denny’s run Pretty much staying out all night and doing whatever I wanted!

What really happened:
Because my kids “not-so-conveniently” came down with a really nasty flu bug I spent the day severely sleep deprived, smelling of throw up and serving up a lot of sprite and top ramen.  Then that evening I went to dinner with my friends (which was a blast!) while my loving husband stayed home and took care of our super sick kids.  After dinner I went to a chick flick with some of the friends from dinner and then came home to an exhausted hubby and (FINALLY) sleeping kiddos.  It was a bummer that I couldn’t enjoy it with my BEST FRIEND, but I was so thankful for the night off from what was going on at home.  :(
